Everything was running fine yesterday then this morning I noticed there was a slight delay with engine ignition. So I turned off the car ans tried it again.same delay again. It was only a slight delay so I was going to get it checked Re: High mileage TDV6. Someone made the great deduction that the crank snapping issue on the D3 D4 may be magnified by "lugging" the engine, basically flooring it in a high gear, makes the engine labour whilst it catches up - puts the crank under enormous stress. There's a thread discussing it on the forum or Google it.
